Sunday morning we had the privilege of sharing with our home church about India. If you'd like to see part of it and have almost an hour, brew you some Chai tea and take a gander at the video below.
**Please note, I do not normally talk with my head in my shoulder. I was so worried about my voice reaching the lapel mic. When I wasn't worrying about that, I felt like a pop-star.
Interesting fact: Did you know that Chai is actually translated as tea in one of the Indian languages? So when we, as English speakers, say "Chai Tea" we are actually saying "Tea Tea"? (David's aunt Theo is from India and taught us that.) Thought you might like to know it too!

[ Happy Thanksgiving! ]*
Happy Thanksgiving from us and our family!
Here is a glimpse into our celebration, as well as our attempt at a family photo.
Yes, our [future] children will be receiving a double-dip from the crazy gene pool.
...And we are so thankful for that!
We love these people so much and are so grateful to have been surrounded by such fun-loving people our entire lives!

God is love, God is love
David made a super cute video of Jonah (our friends' son + one of our most favorite kids on the whole planet).
It is adorable and although it was for work, I know a lot of you hear us talk about him all the time, so I figured you would like to see the cute little guy in action.

"Hibbity Hey"
I need your help.
And as you are about to see, I just need help in general.
I heard a song last night on American Idol (during the scene where the guy from Nigeria finds out he is going to Hollywood.)
I love the song--and want to download it--but I cannot remember the name of it, who sings it or even any of the real words.
I sang it to everyone today at work, but no one there knew.
So, I posted it below for you. Maybe you know????
And, if you are interested; Yes, I am available for concerts.

Our Life Through Photos :: 01.08.2010
Us crazy Southerners. (Pronounced "Su-than-errrs" as I learned from my Grannie + Aunt Merle.) Give us a light dusting of snow and we lose our minds. Before you know it we are greasing up knee boards, skiing down frozen stony paths and using kitchen utensils as safety gear.{ Enjoy & be sure to turn up your speakers. }

This just makes me giggle ::
A video from 2 Christmases ago just resurfaced, featuring 5 girls that I grew up with (in order of appearance: Natasha Jordan, Cali Van Horn, Hilary Mulkey, Jessica Craven, Karen Rouse and yours truly.)
I'm the flash at the end. (Seriously, am I not the epitome of gracefulness?)

A little more about the trip
Here is a video I made about our recent trip to South Asia. { Please doubleclick it so that you can watch it in widescreen view, otherwise half of the text and video will be cut off }.
It was my very first attempt at video creation (yikes!), and although I'm not sure we will ever be able to adequately express what we experienced, I hope that it reveals just a tiny bit of what God did within us while we were there. (And I hope you enjoy it too!)
