David recently went fishing with MLB's Hall of Fame member, Phil Neikro.

Whom he asked for a hook'em horns photo for my blog.

And this is what Phil gave him instead:

Perhaps he was saying, "Texas is number 1!" ?

Loran Smith, Larry Munson's sidekick for the GA Bulldogs, also went with them.

Both of these men were kind enough to sign a boatload of memorabilia for us to auction off to raise money for the orphanage we're providing in India.

In my book, generosity like theirs is way better than a hook'em horns picture anyway. :)

Maybe you remember Hook'em Horns: Dave Ramsey Edition (in honor of my father-in-law, a TX longhorn)?

It's baaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkkkkkkkk!!

I convinced David Greene (former UGA quarterback) and Derek Rackley (of the Atl Falcons & Seattle Seahawks and host of SportsNite) to betray their loyalty and hook'em with me.

They did, but I think it was largely a result of the crazed look I had in my eyes.

[Author's note: When the read the next few sentences, picture me saying all of this with a beret on, dressed in all black and puffing on a long cigarette on a stick.  That is what I look like in my head as I write this.

Oh, and I have my nose pointed upwards and I am talking like a butler:]

Hook'em Horns - The Dave Ramsey Edition

Every time we meet someone who is well-known, we always get them to throw up Hook'em Horns in honor of David's dad who is a University of Texas alum. Dave Ramsey was out latest victim. The photo below is my favorite though. . . Apparently he found us to be quite amusing:
