[ Friday, March 11th ]
What we will be doing:
Arriving in Accra, Ghana. We’ll travel to the church that is hosting us and then return later for an all-night prayer service, where each of us with share from God’s Word and encourage and challenge the believers.
How you can pray:
Pray that, “the Lord [will] be gracious to us; [that we will] long for [Him] and that [He will] be our strength” (Isaiah 33:2) during this physically and spiritually demanding experience.
Ask God that while we pray, we will “all [be] filled with the Holy Spirit and [speak] the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:31)
Pray that we will “know whom [we] have believed” and “what we have heard from [The Word; that we will] keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus; [and that we will] guard the good deposit that was entrusted to [us] . . . with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.” (2 Timothy 1:12-14)
