Whew! Our whirlwind trip to Colorado:
Shmoozing in Denver, got the 1st copy of David's book, 3 industry parties, film festival. . .
Then a roadtrip with our cousin Matthew from Denver to Golden to Boulder to Estes Park to Rocky Mountain National Park.

This cracked me up. To compensate for the fact that you are consuming an ungodly amount of fat and calories, this restaurant in Golden, CO throws in an itsy-bitsy apple. By the end of lunch, I was convinced that I had made a pretty responsible choice.
Our roadtrip was great. We sang. We danced. We ate. We chased elk. We almost died from chasing elk. (Not because of anything the large, antler-ed animal did, but because of our lack of oxygen). When I got back in the car, Matt asked if I had asthma. I think I may have caught it while I was running to the car.

I also got a new nickname: Tranny. Oh, yes, Tranny.
We will keep you guessing on that one. And believe it or not, it has nothing to do with the Testosterone my doctors have me taking!
It was a great time and I was reminded again how very much I love our family. It has been so easy from day one to merge our families together. I am so thankful for that and for the love that I have for David's relatives. They instantly and have always felt like family. I see everyday how rare that is and how fortunate we are.
